Voiceovers for broadcast commercials and audio books
Voice soundtrack only
- $90 for a spoken word track up to 1 minute (60 seconds) in length. $20 per each additional minute up to 5 minutes.
- Spoken word track longer than 5 minutes – $75/hr or by project bid (after consultation by e-mail or telephone).
- Client will furnish rough script. Script writing or cleanup, if requested, billable at $75 per hour.
- Deliverables: audio file (AIF format) sent on CD or electronically via HTTP or FTP file transfer.
Radio and TV commercials, movie trailers
Voice plus background music and/or sound effects
- $270 for a production quality commercial or movie trailer soundtrack up to one minute (60 seconds) in length. Includes a reasonable amount phone or e-mail consultation (less than 2 hours).
- $30 per each additional minute of production quality soundtrack beyond first minute.
- Commercial or movie trailer soundtrack longer than 10 minutes – $75/hr or by project bid (after consultation by e-mail or telephone).
- Client shall furnish rough script. Script cleanup/development, if requested, billable at $75 per hour.
- Deliverables: audio file (AIF format) sent on CD or electronically via HTTP or FTP file transfer.
Commercial jingles
Advertising and promotional songs created for any broadcast or commercial application.
- $200 for a jingle up to 20-seconds in length. Client supplies rough ideas via e-mail or telephone.
- Longer than 20 seconds – $75 per hour or by project bid (after consultation by e-mail or telephone).
- Deliverables: audio file (AIF format) sent on CD or electronically via HTTP or FTP file transfer.
Music scores, theme songs and custom soundtracks
Complete musical integration for any type of film, video, web, broadcast, play or feature performance. For conventions, meetings, radio and television shows, websites or retail product.
- $350 for an instrumental song up to 3 minutes in length. Client supplies rough ideas via e-mail or telephone.
- $450 for a song with lyrics and instrumentation up to 3 minutes in length. Client supplies rough ideas via e-mail or telephone.
- Longer than 3 minutes – $75 per hour or by project bid (after consultation by e-mail or telephone).
- Deliverables: audio file (AIF format) sent on CD or electronically via HTTP or FTP file transfer.
- Sheet music notation (PDF format) is additional – $50 per page or by project bid.
Note on licensing
- Cue sheets must be submitted by client (licensee) to Richard Schletty (licensor), to appropriate media broadcast companies, and to BMI (Richard Schletty’s performance rights organization). Performance royalties will be paid directly to Richard Schletty through BMI (Richard Schletty’s performance rights organization).
